What the site stores: only what you choose to leave. There are no accounts and no analytics cookies at this stage. The address finder sends your typed address to Google’s geocoding, mapping and solar services through our server to fetch the picture and the measurement; we do not keep the address from that step. When you press “Send this quote to me” in the roof tool, we store your name, cellphone number and email (whichever you give), the address, the roof you outlined, the quote shown, your answers and the network address the request came from (used only to spot abuse), so that we can send you the quote and, if you go ahead, carry out the job. Anything you add after that, such as when you want the work done, is saved as you give it. If you answer the "Where did you hear about us?" question, that answer is stored with it, together with the site that referred you and the first page you opened, which your browser keeps for the visit only. Nothing is stored before you press that button. We also count how many visits reach each step of the tool, with no personal details attached. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, keeps standard server logs.
What we do with it: send you your quote, book the site visit, prepare the fixed quote and carry out the job. We use your details only to quote and do your job, never for a newsletter. Ask us and we delete it.
What you send us: when you WhatsApp or call, your number, message and photos reach us. We share your details only with the registered removal team and the approved inspection authority that do your job, and only what each needs to quote and carry it out, plus the service providers listed below. Nobody else gets them.
How long we keep it: an enquiry that does not go ahead is kept for up to 12 months and then deleted, sooner if you ask. For a job that goes ahead, we keep the job record and copies of its certificates for as long as we need them for the job and for our legal and tax records.
Your rights under POPIA: ask us at any time what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, on WhatsApp or by phone at 066 515 5141.
Third parties: Google (maps, imagery, roof measurement), Cloudflare (hosting), WhatsApp (messaging), Anthropic (message processing), ntfy.sh (an alert to our phone that a new quote came in, with no names, numbers or street addresses in it). Each has its own policy.
